Patsy D. Gleckler, age 84, of Wauseon passed away Monday April 1, 2013, in her home. Prior to her retirement she had worked at the former Sterling Milk Company in Wauseon from the age of 15. From making milkshakes to being the Executive Secretary to the owner of the company she enjoyed her time there.
Mrs. Gleckler was born on April 8, 1928, in St. Louis, MO the daughter of the late Leslie and the late Georgia (Parish) Westbrook. She was an active member of the Wauseon VFW Auxiliary where she enjoyed many tasks including setting up annual golf outings for the members. She enjoyed golfing and bowling as pastimes. Mrs. Gleckler was also very active with the annual Fulton County Heart Radiothon.
Surviving are her five sons, Jim (Connie) Gleckler of Cherry Hill, NJ, Rick (Deb) Gleckler of Wauseon, Tom (Jo) Gleckler of Wauseon, Don (Liz) Gleckler of Manitou Beach, MI and Steve Gleckler of Wauseon. Also surviving are grandchildren, Andrea, Dylan, Travis, Alana, Les, Ben, Brooke, Chris, Taylor, Jennifer, Heather, Christina, Emily, Beth, Tina, Ric, Dev, Tom, John, and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her parents was sister; Corine Rumsey, and niece, Cindy Lamotte Diedo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Wauseon with Pastor Mitch Maxted officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Online condolences may be made to the family at
