Dear Kim and Scott, Sorry for the loss of your dad, thinking of you.
July 25, 2014
I am glad I was lucky enough to meet him. When my boy is older he will appreciate having met him and his autograph. I still show the photo of them regularly. I will miss seeing him at games.

Sometimes, as people walk through life, we are fortunate enough to cross paths with someone who stands out; someone that leaves an everlasting powerful impression. Ray was one of these people.
Having been his neighbor and friend, I have seen all of the good things people remember about him.
Ray was all about the kids. He was a fabulous father to my closest and trusted friends, Kim,Lynn and Scott. As well as an involved and proud grandfather.
We say good-bye to Ray, but he lives in many of us in many fun and wonderful ways.

May Ray rest in peace with our Lord. May His perpetual light shine upon him.

Remembering the fun Ray would have on Halloween with the crazy coffin and Halloween sounds scaring all the kids. Have known Ray and his Dad a long time and when I was a little 4 year old riding around on my tricycle they would always yell out..."hi little Blondie" Ray was just a teenager but he picked up on that from his Dad. Good memories never die. May he rest in peace.

Family: I did not get down to see Duke this year but always enjoyed seeing him. We were long time friends ,Libbey High football and Bethel Church. His Dad and mine were friends. Will miss a man that always had good things to say about a person. He told me that #86 that Jeff now wears at OSU was his number at OSU.

I have many happy memories of Ray. Of course, because of him, I am a forever Ohio State fan. Scott and Lynn, remember our trip to Northwestern and the cheddar cheese popcorn? Although Ray is no longer physically here, your memories will live forever in your heart. We will see you Friday night. Hugs...

So sorry to hear about Ray's passing. When I lived in Toledo. He would come by and visit my friend Diane and I. Diane had met him when she lived in Toledo and they remained friends. I think Diane now lives in Phoenix and tried to call him a couple years ago. So sad as he was always so full of life and energy.
