I met Richard at First United Presbyterian Church. He impressed me as a kind, gentle man who loved the Lord. I enjoy reading how he affected so many lives. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Anderson was my Geometry and Chemistry teacher at Evergreen High School in the seventies. Apart from being an excellent teacher, he was a real class act. Mr. Anderson left such an impression on the class of '77 that we invited him to our 25th class reunion and were so touched and impressed when he showed up! I personally remember his intelligence, wisdom, patience, sense of humor and the most wonderful cardigan sweaters he wore.
Condolences to his sister and family.

So very sorry for the family's loss. I remember Mr. Anderson from Emmanuel Baptist Church...we sat in the same area while he was still coming to Church....what a sweet gentle man. Kathy

Mr. Anderson was my Evergreen High School chemistry and physics teacher. He had a quiet, patient manner and very funny dry wit. He engaged students in the lessons and was one of my favorite teachers. I am sad to hear of your loss and hope there is comfort knowing he enriched so many lives when he was a teacher.
