Richard was 15 years my elder, but I remember him as a humble and faithful follower of Jesus. He served as Sunday school superintendent for a number of years at First United Presbyterian Church in Toledo and led the Sunday school worship time. It is good to hear the positive comments from his students and co-workers. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. My sympathy to his family for their loss.

I met Richard at First United Presbyterian Church. He impressed me as a kind, gentle man who loved the Lord. I enjoy reading how he affected so many lives. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Anderson was my Geometry and Chemistry teacher at Evergreen High School in the seventies. Apart from being an excellent teacher, he was a real class act. Mr. Anderson left such an impression on the class of '77 that we invited him to our 25th class reunion and were so touched and impressed when he showed up! I personally remember his intelligence, wisdom, patience, sense of humor and the most wonderful cardigan sweaters he wore.
Condolences to his sister and family.

So very sorry for the family's loss. I remember Mr. Anderson from Emmanuel Baptist Church...we sat in the same area while he was still coming to Church....what a sweet gentle man. Kathy
