I knew Dick from work at Dana and will always remember his smiles and his laughter and his friendship.

I worked with Dick for the 12 years he was at Dana. I also happened to buy a house and was surprised to find out that it was across the street from Dick and his mother. We remained friends for many years after he retired and also after he moved away from that house. As often happens, over the years since we communicated less and less often. I am saddened to hear of his lose and I will miss him.

Richard was a gracious and godly gentleman. It was a pleasure to be his pastor when I served as interim pstor at First United Presbyterian Church in the early 1970s. I had the privilege of seeing him again before we moved to Forida in 2010. Our sympathies to the family; may the Lord bless you all.

Mr. Anderson was my high school algebra teacher at Chesterfield-Dover in 1964. He would be surprised to know that I actually graduated from college. He was a great guy who wore a slide rule tie clasp.

I worked with Richard at Dana. He was a great co-worker who could always be counted upon to get the job done. Richard eventually became the support person for the management payroll for the company. He worked very closely with the team of people who ran the payrolls. They always enjoyed Richard's help in solving problems and they appreciated his wonderful sense of humor. His friends and co-workers will always remember the time we spent with Richard at Dana.
