Dear Gross Family

I was in the first graduating class of the family business program that Mr. Gross help create. I recall like it was yesterday him speaking in one of my classes and encouraging each of us to treat our employees like family. He made a lasting impression on me and my families business and I will be forever greatful! He was a good man who will be missed by this entire community!

Skip and family,

Lois and I just learned of Dick's passing and extend our most sincere sympathies.

Dick was an icon in the industry, known for his warm and open friendly manner and astute judgement, particularly in family business matters. I had a great number of discussions with him on the subject over the years.

We recall with fondness the pleasure of your company on the many trips taken with you and Dick dating back to 1964 in Paris.

With great affection,

Skip and Family: Gail and I got to know Dick as neighbors in Exmoor. He and I would chat about sales and customer service, and laugh about how easy business is, if one simply works hard on those first points. What a wonderful gentleman! Please accept our prayers and condolence. Chuck & Gail Scharte, Scottsdale, AZ
