I had the honor and pleasure of working on Judge Knepper's campaign for county prosecutor. It was my Senior Project at Sj in May of 1996. I had a fun time and I enjoyed being around him. In years past I would occasionally run into him and he would always come up to me and talk. That always left quite an impression on me.

Mrs. Knepper and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Judge Knepper for his wit and friendliness towards others. God Bless all of you.

My memory of Dick goes back to Woodward High School, where we became friends in Aquatatis Club. He had a great sense of humor and liked to tell stories. He was excellent at running the weekly meetings, even in high school.
Once I was called to jury duty in Toledo. The perspective jurors were waiting to go into the courtroom. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and said Jay you can't be on this jury. I asked why and Dick told me because I know you. He said don't worry you'll still get credit for serving (his sense of humor).
Sorry I missed the funeral home and funeral. I've had a nasty cold with cough, etc. I didn't want to expose people to that.
So sorry for your loss, Dick will be missed very much by all.
