Robert

Robert DeCoster, age 60, of Sylvania passed away on March 27, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee. Bob was born in Toledo to John and Martha (DeCoster) Engle. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Bob worked for Avis Car Rental. Bob enjoyed fishing and spending time with close friends. Bob also enjoyed going to area auto shows. A devoted son, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his loving mother, Martha Engle; brothers, John (Debbie) Engle, Jim Engle, Jeff (Teresa) Engle; sisters, Debbie Sleesman, Tracy Engle, and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John, and grandmother, Teresa.

Their will be no visitation, but a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Heart Association. Arrangements were entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Holland.

DeCoster family, I knew Bob while he was married to my cousin. I always found him to be a quiet, caring and good man. Please accept my condolences at your loss.
