My deepest condolences to his family.
Doc was the first professor I met at the university
As so many have mentioned my first impression was of a kind, warm and considerate professor .
He became a role model for so many very young enthusiastic students.
He taught pharmacology with a passion, as a young student you wanted to learn.
He was the Kappa Psi faculty advisor and a fraternity brother
I do remember one particular friday night as a pledge we were in U-Hall, we saw him and he said to us, gentleman you didn't bring me a beer ?
His door was always open, if he needed to get in contact with you he would leave a note on the bulletin board...please see me at your earliest convenience ( always so polite )
Years ago there was a scholarship established in his name that have helped numerous students achieve their education

It was an honor knowing your father and how many hearts he guided to the career path of Pharmacy. He truly had an impact on so many students that passed thru the University. For many reasons he will be remembered in his pharmacy world but more so as loving his family.

Doc is the reason I became a pharmacist instead of a doctor. I will always remember him fondly and the influence he had on my pharmacy education. Lori (Loop) Kostoff 88/89

Dr. Schlembach was there from my very first visit to The University of Toledo, when he cleared part of his day to spend time with me and my parents, to graduation and beyond. His presence set the welcoming tone for the entire College of Pharmacy. A kind word or smile from him could brighten up even the toughest of days! I have fond memories of him, as I'm sure do many other Pharmacy graduates. He leaves behind a great legacy of kindness and professionalism.
