Mom loved "Holeys Hollar", my parents' property out in the woods of Hillsdale county. She enjoyed watching the ducks swim in the pond outside the kitchen window; and seeing the deer graze in the yard from her living room chair. She had visits from many good friends and wonderful family members throughout the summer. We got to reminisce and laugh a lot.
I remember that Mom was always "game for anything". Anything that anyone suggested, mom was right there to partake. I remember her teaching me the jitterbug in the living room on Keithcrest Drive. Also there, she painted the windows at Christmastime showing off her artistic talent. I remember the little hop she had before she threw her bowling ball(which earned her several "500 game" pins and trophies). What I remember the most is how many of my friends, or people she just met, would comment about how nice and kind my mom was. I'm so grateful I was able to spend so much quality time with you mom. Miss you and love you very much!
