George H. Cundick
George H. Cundick, 90, of Oregon, OH passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. George was born in Toledo, OH on August 18, 1927 to David and Florence (Whitehouse) Cundick. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. George was a member of the National VFW; he loved his country and was a proud Veteran. He had retired from the Former A&P Grocery Store after 36 years. George was an avid OSU fan, also a not so happy Browns fan! He had a special place in his heart for animals especially his dogs and cats.
Surviving are his children, Harry (Linda), George, Jim, Mark, Charlene (Rick) Brown, Linda (John) Moore, Patty (Ken) Smith, Tina (Dave) Cogswell; his granddaughter and caregiver, Sarina (Fred) Buczko; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; George was preceded in death by his parents; son, Floyd; brothers, David & Rich, sister, Arlene Meeker.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Oregon Chapel. Oregon, 440 S, Coy Road on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in George's memory are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society.
