Thank you Tom, for being in my life. Looks like I missed your Celebration of Life. Looks like that means I have to live like you did instead...what a challenge that will be... but I'll give it my best! God Speed and see you on the other side, my friend.

The world just lost a great guy. Tom's ambition to live life abundanantly is what made him so unique. He approached life with a gentle grace and truly ran his own race. While I'll miss his insighful wisdom and playing guitar with him, I'm happy that he's looking down on us with a smile knowing how many lives he touched. I see a little bit of Tom in all three of his daughters and know they will contribute to the world in the same way that their dad did. Thanks for the memories Tom. Have fun playing the blues in heaven buddy.

Dear Maggi, Libby and Alli,
It broke my heart to get the news that your precious Dad was gone from this earth. But I could rejoice knowing
he knew where he was going, the tumors are gone, and his body has been made whole.
Tom and I were Carey Cousins and summer visits from the Overleys were always a highlight. Days at the beach, nights singing silly songs around the campfire at Fisherman's Island. Although the visits were less frequent as life went on, they were deeper and richer and we grew to love each other more.
There is great confidence I will see my dear cousin again one day and we can sing "The cow kicked Nellie in the belly in the barn..." and other campfire songs. But not before we sing sweet songs together to Jesus.
I love you, Tom Overly.
Cousin Chris
