Charles Koske

Charles Koske CAMDEN, DE - Charles Koske passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in his home. He was 86. He was born on June 7, 1927, in Trenton, NJ, son of the late John and Lillian (Bergman) Koske. Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946. He later worked as a supervisor in air freight. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 2 of Dover, Sampson Vets in New York, and the Harvest Years Senior Center. Charles enjoyed antique cars and car models. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsa, and daughter, Sharon. Charles is survived by his second wife, Miriam (Honey); daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Phillip Sechrist; two stepdaughters, Eileen Nuttal and Kathy Doan; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ, where visitation will be held one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
