Janet and I have been friends for many years. We started programs at church for our children, Chaired vacation Bible school. Our children had swimming lessons in her pool. We worked on tutoring new teachers in Trenton. She will surely be missed. Our continued prayers for you BJ.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you and your family. When I began teaching at Peter Muschal Janet was an inspiration and mentor to me....she was so well respected and knew so much. She was a source of knowledge in all areas and so willing to share her talents and enthusiasm with all. She touched the lives of so many...young and old alike! My prayers and thoughts are with you at such a difficult time. Sincerely, Judy Pesce
Janet ane I grew up together. She taught alongside my Mother for many years. Our class is planning our 50 yr class reuninn. She will be greatly missed at this celebration, as well as times she comes into ones mind of those who knew her.
So very sorry to hear of this terrible loss. Ms. Murphy was what every teacher should strive to be. She has touched so many with her love for teaching as I see from the many familiar names here. May God bless you all in your grief that you find peace and happiness knowing she is teaching to those in Heaven. I am truly sorry for your loss - it is a loss for many. She was a first teacher for many and set a very high standard.
Janet touched many lives . She will be rembered for her kind heart!
I am sure she is in heaven teaching little angels.
Janet was an amazing person and I always enjoyed talking with her. Her happiness and joy were contagious. Our family enjoyed our Disney travels with her and William and we will never forget those times. We will miss her.
So saddened to hear about another member of the Bordentown teaching family leaving us too soon. Janet was not just a kindergarten teacher; she became a part of her students' families. If you ever wanted to know anything about anyone in Bordentown, Janet was the community historian. May her family find comfort in all of the loving memories Janet has left them to cherish.
I first met Janet while teaching with her at Clara Barton. Her kind demeanor and loving manorisms made her like a second mom to many she worked with, but especially to the children she taught. Her son and all her other "kids" at school were her life. She will be missed by many, but our family especially will feel an emptiness with the loss of "Aunt Janet".
Mrs Murphy was my kindergarten teacher and my sister's. Very sorry to hear this news, she was a beloved teacher and a wonderful woman
Mrs. Murphy was my kindergarten and my son's second grade teacher. Our prayers and blessing go out to her family.

Mrs, Murphy was my Kindergarten Teacher she was very nice, funny and patient she will be sadly missed.
I had the pleasure of meeting Janet once over dinner. Her charm and loving nature were infectious. Her legacy lives on in the wonderful son and man William grew to be. Anyone who knows William, knows just how much he loves his mother and just how much she loved him. I pray we all could leave this world with the love and heart Janet brought into the lives of all she encountered. Rest in peace, beautiful Janet.
