John P. Milewski TITUSV ILLE John P. Milewski, 72, entered into eternal rest through the grace of our Lord on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. For the past 12 years, John suffered through constantly increasing debilitating pain, the last three years as a resident of Greenwood House. After graduating from Hunterdon Central High School, he served in the US Marine Corps. John returned to his home in New Jersey, where he entered the field of law enforcement, and worked at Yardville Youth and Correction Center, Mercer County Correction Center, and Mercer County Sheriff's Office, and finally serving for 30 years with the Hopewell Township Police Department, retiring at the rank of sergeant. John was a member of the Union Fire Company in Titusville and the American Legion Post 339. John's favorite pastime was fishing and he was either at the river, down the shore or off with his fishing buddies in Upper New York and Canada or down in Georgia. Son of the late John and Harriet Bradley Milewski and brother of the late Anthony Milewski, he is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan Swick Milewski; his son, Michael J. Milewski, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerold P. and Cindy Swick. Private graveside services will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
