Joseph M. Stubbs EWING Joseph (Sarge) M. Stubbs Jr. of Ewing, NJ, departed this life on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ. Visitation is on Monday, July 3 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Going home services are on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Washington Crossing, PA.

Stubbs was a mentor and a friend... I had no idea he was ill or had passed. Moving out of the DOC and JJC made it hard to connect. I loved him. So sorry for the family's loss, for he was truly one of a kind! I've thought of him often throughout the years since we worked at the boot camp and didn't know how to contact him. I finally googled his name and found this! Again, my deepest condolences.
