Cynthia St. John Obituary

Cynthia Virginia "Pam" St. John, 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at home.
Born in Savannah, GA where she graduated from the Chatham County Public School System, she was a resident of Trenton for over 30 years. "Pam", as she was affectionately known, continued her education at the St. Francis School of Nursing and earned her Bachelor's Degree at Thomas Edison State College. Previously employed as a registered nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, she was employed as a Public Health Nurse by the City of Trenton, Division of Health for over 20 years.
Mrs. St. John was a faithful member of New Holy Cross Church of Christ and over the years served as President of the Nurse's Unit, with the Deaconess Board, Pastor's Choir, Pastor's Aide Ministry, Samaritan Daughters, Scholarship Committee and Sisters of Faith. She was also a member of the Planning Board for Mercer County VoTech.
She was predeceased by her husband; Havelin St. John; her parents; Willie Frazier and Mary Alice Hicks; and one brother; Isaac Hicks. She is survived by her sister; Othelia Roberts; of Southampton; one niece; Ilyasah Roberts; of Mt. Holly; one nephew; Morris Roberts; of Hamilton; two great-nieces; Caren Thomas and Zana Clark; her very special friend; Gloria Rogers; of Trenton; godchildren; Wesley Rogers, Jr.; Ebonie Stephens and Jacqueline White and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Feb. 25) at 7 p.m. at New Holy Cross Church of Christ, 500 E. State St. Bishop Willie J. Jones, pastor, officiating. Visitation from 5 p.m. until time of service at the church. Private interment at the discretion of the family.
Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service.
