Dear Dan and Julie,
Margaret and I learned several weeks ago of the passing of Danny, and we have been frustrated ever since because we did not know, until now, how to contact you.
Danny and his darling wife Lucille welcomed us as their next-door neighbour in the Villages at Hamilton in 2002, and we enjoyed their company, friendship and hospitality immensely. Both Danny and Lucille attended our first daughter's wedding at St. Raphael's Church in Hamilton in 2004. Danny was a loving and caring man; a genial man possessed of a sharp wit and a good sense of humour; a beautiful soul. If the biblical question concerning a good neighbour were put to me, I would answer without any hesitation, Danny DeCore". For he was truly a good man - and a gentleman at that! May the Almighty grant his soul eternal peace!
And may he give his family, through the generations, the grace to hold his name in charitable memory!
From the Ntiru family - Richard, Margaret, Monica, Micheline, Marion, Mabel, and Catherine.

Dear Dan and Family,

I just heard of your father's passing this past week.

My father considered your dad his very best friend. My father always spoke so highly of your dad, your mom and their family. Your dad often gave me encouragement regarding school and career while I was growing up. After my father died, I always wished that I could have had a long 'sit-down' with your father over lunch to have known my own father better. After many long hours of traveling in the car, I'm sure that they discussed topics that were important to them both. Unfortunately, that opportunity never seemed to materialize.

Know that your father made a gentle, yet lasting difference to the lives of many, myself included. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Sincerely,

Sue Dill 09/26/2014

Dear Dennis, Donna, Dennis Jr. Dana and the entire Decore Family.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your father, and grandfather.

May you find peace in the loving and beautiful memories you have made over the years with him.

I remember him and your mom at soccer games and their excitement to see their grandson Dennis play. I remember them as very happy and wonderful and full of life people.

According to his obit he live a wonderful life and you should celebrate his life and not his passing.

May his soul and your mom's rest in peace. They are together again.
