Please accept my deepest sympathies for the untimely demise of your family member and/or friend.
Thanks for the memories, #13! Gone way too soon. May you rest in peace. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Dave attended many functions for me graciously. He was always anxious to do them if it was for good causes. I can't begin to say how much I will miss him both as a former giant and jet and above all, as a person.
Dave helped me run many, many off-season basketball games here in East Hampton, CT. He was one of the most popular players to visit here. Know that he was admired and we loved his sense of humor. Football, and the world, needs more Dave Jennings. My deepest condolences to you. His picture is above me right now and the way he signed it.. "Your Friend, Dave Jennings" is a treasure. RIP my friend.
May the grieving family cherish the fond memories.
To Dave Jennings,
You were a great football player for the N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Jets. My prayers are with you and your family. Lisa Weiner

"Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth" (Matt. 6:9,10). We await that day when this prayer will be fulfilled.
My sincere condolences to the Jennings family. May the God of all comfort be with you during your grief.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
We've lost a great man. We were noon-time hoops buddies at Dartmouth College, where he spent summers. We called him the human tendon. Even after retirement he worked out 2-3 hours a day. Moreover, he was a good friend, funny, talented, and a man of dignity. See you later, my friend.
Jesus will call and all those in God's memory will come out from death's door.
A class act , always been a big fan , Dave will truly be missed. God Bless
What a great person. He had come to our Cub Scout Dinner years ago and I have to say what a great person he was to take the time out of his busy schedule to speak to our scouts. Truly a great person. What a loss to all.

Dave helped my mother in the dining hall at SLU, Eben Holden, I think. He was one of her favorites and was so happy when he did so well for the Gmen.
One of my dearest friends at SLU and for the next 25 years. Despite his stardom, Hondo always made you feel special and loved. So many great memories as he lived life to the fullest. Thanks for everything buddy. I will miss you.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dave, back in the 70's - he was playing basketball with other Giants. He was my favorite Giant. I also took a picture with him. My prayer are with him and his family. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
To the Jennings Family;Dave and I had a number of classes together at St. Lawrence. I remember him as an intelligent, kind person. I moved to Alaska after graduating. As serious giant fans my east coast family kept me up to date on
Dave's career. I am sorry to read of your loss.

I met Dave my freshman year at St. Lawrence University. We had dinner together all the time. He was a great person...always upbeat, a great sense of humor and so kind. We kept in contact for many years....One of the nicest people I ever met. Rest in Peace Dave. My deepest sympathies to his family.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dave in the late 70's at a function he was at, we chatted for awhile and became "pen friends." If he was in the area I would try to go see him just to say hi. I made him a needlepoint Giants picture many years ago- he was so thankful for it. Rest in Peace my friend.
I got to meet Dave at a speech he gave in Livingston, NJ. I am also someone who relies on the radio when I listen to games, because I have a visual disability, the radio is crucial. Dave always had a great interpretation of the football rules. I will miss him alot.
Dave Jennings had class on and off the field!R.I.P.
A true Man among Men. We truly have lost a "Giant"
Dave...rest in peace you were always one of my favorite Giants!
Met Dave the first day of freshman practice in college. Ironically, he had never played organized football before, just Punt , Pass, and Kick contests. He didn't really know how to put the pads on. I wondered what he was doing on the team. Then he hit that first punt. I thought it would never come down. A great memory.
I got to know Dave at the health club and was a real gentleman. I never heard him complain and loved to talk sports. We lost a good guy today.
Soon the words of Revelaion 21:4 will be true. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no mor. This will be an enjoyable time to live. Neighbor
We Lost a Giant of a Man Yesterday my thoughts and prayers are with his family
Dave was one of my families all time favorites Rest In Peace
Dave was a true professional and will be missed. Dave did his first broadcasting stint for WNAB Radio in Bridgeport CT. My family sports business had a studio built in one location and Dave did a sports show live every Saturday morning. It was really memorable for everyone involved.
I knew Dave for many years. He was one of the nicest, most respectful men I've ever met in my life. He will be missed... RIP Dave
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.
I can remember my father taking me to an Alfred University football game in the early 70's. We went down to the field before the game to watch the players warmup. As I stood near the sideline rope I watched this St. Lawrence Punter hit cannon shot after cannon shot...his practice punts were well over 70 and 80 yards consistently. It got to the point that the Alfred U. Coach Yunevich complained to the officials that his team couldn't warmup. Yes indeed Dave Jennings was specials! You will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to his family on the loss of such a wonderful person. An exceptional player and a true gentleman. I have so many fond memories of his kindness and enthusiasm. May he find rest in God's loving arms. God bless you, Dave.
I met Dave while working at a western store in Dallas. He would come in whenever the Giants played the Cowboys. Dave was just a class act, really a nice guy. Sorry to hear of his passing.
My husband and I are so sad to read of the passing of a wonderful man. Dave was kind enough to accept my invitation to speak at our little school back in 78 when he was "THE" punter of the NFL. We didn't have any money in the budget and he couldn't care less. His speech to the children that day had a positive affect on many of them. Years later many of the boys
still talked about meeting him.
He could not have been more of a kind
gentleman and a great positive speaker.
May he rest in peace.
First came to know Dave as a fan of the Giants when he was clearly the best in the game. I later came to know Dave personally over many years as a work-out partner in Ramsey. Every morning busting butts, he could've played well into his 40's. A very fine person who will be missed.
Played football with Dave in college. Great guy who accomplished a lot in his life. He was way to young and should not be to leaving us so soon. Prayers are with him and his family.
Sorry for the family lost as a hard Giants fan I enjoyed his efforts Poole from DC
I will always remember Dave, he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I used to work at the Grand Union & he would stop in every day just to say hello & when I got into my accident in 95 he was kind enough to come see me. Although I haven't seen him in years I have always thought about him. RIP Dave you will be missed greatly! Heaven has gained a true angel
Sad to hear that such a great, has died.
I grew up with Dave in Garden City. We played sports every day -- football, baseketball, baseball -- whatever was in season and Dave was always on the winning side.
Please allow God to heal your broken heart. I'm sorry for your loss.
A Great Player, And A Better Person. It Was A Pleasure To Have Had The Privilege To Know You, And Call You Friend. Rest In Peace My Friend, I Will Think Of You Often, And Always With A Smile.
May you find happiness in your memories.
So sorry for the loss of a great football punter. I am a Giants fan and always loved watching him put. May he rest in peace.
Dave Jennings was the brightest star during some of the NY Giants darkest years. Forever a Giant....Forever in our prayers. RIP #13 .
Met Dave playing pick up basketball at Southern Connecticut State University when his father was the school president. Nice, nice man.
I met Dave briefly at a MSG concert. He loved The Allman Brothers Band especially Dickey Betts.Aside from my encounter with him,I respected Dave enormously as a
broadcaster. You always learned something and never talked down to his audience.Dave's Sat. mornings
segments with Richard Neer on WFAN was a must listen.
Dave you will sorely be missed by this listener and fan. RIP
I loved Dave! I met him at St. Lawrence. He was incredibly kind to me. In later years, he got me tickets for Giants games. He will be missed!
