Dear Alston Family:
I only today learned of Robert Earl's passing. I went to TSC with him and had the privilege of working with him at the Ewing Residential Center, years later. He was a wonderful guy -- oh, that laugh!! What joy! Although our paths did not cross for more than 20 years, I still remember him as a man of love, always willing to share his heart unconditionally. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear so late about the lost of such a great person. He is in Heaven being a stewart there as he was here on earth. Praying for the family that they heal from such a great lost.
Gloria Pace and Family
I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Mr. Alston. I first got to know him when I was a student in the Lawrence Township Public School System and then again as an adult. He will truly be missed. May God comfort you all in your time of grief.
Sorry to hear of your loss. My family will keep your family in prayer.
To Gloria and Family
What a legacy Robert left to TCNJ -- to the Financial Aid Office that loved him, his booming voice, his optimism, and his concern for all of us. Somedays he would burst into an otherwise drab day with a song, or even flowers for the ladies, It truly was an honor to work with him! What a legacy he left to students who would come for counsel, not just in financial aid, and leave with a smile, or at least the beginning of a smile, I can only imagine how much his family will miss him and want to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to you.
May God watch over you and your family and hold you close. May you know that Robert was loved by so many. Robert was one of a kind. God gave him a gift and Robert used it wisely. As a retiree from TCNJ and Green Hall, I feel so blessed to have known Robert. He touch many lives and we are all better for it. May God watch over you during this Holiday Season and may his love warm you hearts. Robert was a loving man and loved his family.
God's grace is mercifully with you and your family. Debra Jones TSC 76

To the Alston Family, To say the Pobert will be missed is truly an understatement. Instead I will just say his memory will glow eternally. Robert was a light, a voice of intelligence and reason. His star will always shine. A friend to many and a hero to more. Ever smiling ever dancing ever showing love. We were blessed to know him, you guys were blessed to have him.
Continuous Blessings and Love, Terri Barlow
To Gloria & Family,
Please know that your loss is truly and deeply shared. Anyone who meet Big Brother Robert Earl, had to love him. That gently, kind spirit and infectious laugh will long be remembered and treasured. You have truly been blessed by God and all of us have been as well, just for the opportunity to know and love him. Stand tall, and firm in faith. Big Brother Robert Earl loved you sincerely and publicly. He did not care who knew he loved his family. Thank you all for your willingness to share your gift of him with all of us. To God be the glory, with love, Gail D. Lane (TSC-Delta Sigma Theta, IB)

Robert was a very big part of my life and I loved him dearly. He was so very kind and loving and I think as proud of my kids as I am. They are very lucky to have had Uncle Rob on their side and cheering for them their whole lives. I am heartbroken for them and for me and most of all, for all or you. Rob always said that he was blessed. We too are blessed for having known him. Thank you for sharing him.
With much love and sympathy,
