Da'Quan Dowling Obituary
Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Emily Fisher Charter School and attended West Virginia State University for two years.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Virginia Dowling and Elizabeth Hightower, grandfather, Willie Hutchinson, great- grandfathers, Willie Dowling and Deoitis Prewitt Sr., and aunt, Marie Poles.
Da'Quan is survived by his mother, Saundra Dowling, father, Willie Hightower (Stephanie), stepfather, Mincey Edward; four siblings, Quinneisha, Samijah, Mincey Jr. and Egypt; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 8) at New Holy Cross Church, 500 E. State St., Trenton. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church. Interment Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.

It always hurts when I hear of people dying so young......... But it's not often that I actually know of the deceased..... It's gotta stop,but I fear it will only get worse... RIP Daquan Dowling...

To the Dowling family, I want you to know that when I taught Daquan in my class in his senior year, he was one of the first students I got to know. I will always remember him as a good student, a nice person to talk to, and a friend. I am deeply saddened by this tragedy and I know that God will help you in your time of need.
