Zachary Benjamin Pearson struggled to come into this world on July 1, 1983. Then on June 24, 2017, he painfully left it. In between his short life span, he not only blessed his "biological" family, Crista, Ron, Vanessa, Nate, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, but also his "adopted" Tennessee family. On May 9, 1991, after much prayer and deliberation, Zachary was placed in Greene Valley Developmental Center in Greeneville, Tenn. He lived there until May 25, 2017, and he spent the last weeks of his life at Sunrise Group Home. Because the majority of Zachary's life was spent with the loving and devoted staff of these extraordinary places, we, as a family, decided to have Zachary buried in a Greeneville cemetery, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of northeastern Tennessee. We will always love and miss you, Zachary B, but know that now you are finally free from pain. Love, Mom, Dad, Vanessa and Nate.
