Have a good time RIP

Dearest Julie and Family,
Doctor Pitcavage was the perfect pediatrician for our children, one a daughter and the other a son. We arrived in Sewickley during their early teen years and the Doc was the answer to many a prayer. The Doctor was also a magnificent person in every other way one could care to measure him: son, husband, father, friend, athlete, dancer etc, etc. His wonderful presence will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this very difficult time. May Our Lord richly
reward our brother James in the next life.
Our Love and Blessings,
Rosalind Kaliden-Barry, Robert Barry, William G. Kaliden III,and Elizabeth Kaliden Laughlin

I was so sorry to see this today. My deepest sympathy to Doc's family. I had one child, he was her pediatrician and yes...he was an educator for sure! There had been no children in my family for many, many years and Dr. Pitcavage steered me through all the rights and wrongs...and, he really knew his medicine. When my child's appointment was with him, she never needed a repeat visit. He knew the right medicine every time. He listened, he was calming, he was funny, he was kind and reassuring. My daughter had the best pediatrician in the whole world. God Blessed, Dr. Pitcavage. He's a different kind of angel now.
