"In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

There are many fond memories at 1st Antioch that were formed from our relationship with Deacon Charles Butts.

He was a man that truly loved the Lord, his mother and pretty much everyone with whom he had contact.

He almost always had a smile on his face and before the conversation was over, you would be wearing one as well.

He was a hard, dedicated worker but really enjoyed retirement when he was able to do more for the Lord by way of visitations with the sick and shut-ins.

He enjoyed life and now he gets to receive his crown and sit to praise our Savior.

Our prayers are with the family and other loved ones. We loved him but God loved him best.

Charles was a good friend to our family. Knew his for a long time and he visited our home many times for cookouts and family celebrations. He was a kind and generous
Christian man. He was Deacon at First Antioch for a long time and that is where I first met him.
He will be missed
Our prayers are with the family.
