My sincerest condolences to your family.

May the treasured memories of your loved one and the drawing close to God in prayer comfort and strengthen you during this most difficult time.

Mr. Durnin was a part of my childhood and our neighborhood in the sixties. Being an only child, I was thrilled when a family of seven (later eight)children moved across the street. His daughter, Susan, was special to me. After reading the obituary, I realize why she was always much more athletic. Still, Susan always seemed to look for the similarities in people. I see that both of our fathers were veterans of WWII. I'm grateful I had the positive impact of growing up with the daughter he and Mrs. Durnin raised. Susan and I walked to elementary school and played together, and I was at her wedding. I was very sad to hear of his passing.
