As a Rehabilitation Professional I worked with Connie for more than 30 years on many projects, particularly with the Governor's Committee on the Employment of People With Disabilities and the PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. It was my pleasure and honor to watch her work her magic. I have vivid memory of when she told her own story of overcoming polio and entering the work world at a time when employers were very resistant to accommodating employees with disabilities and community accessibility was non-existent. Her voice was delicate while powerful in achievement. She was determined while reasonable in persuading legislators to enact laws and regulations that empowered individuals with disabilities to do great things. Connie left her world a better place. Her style and grace will be missed by many.
