Mark and Brian,

I have fond memories from high school of hanging out at the beautiful house your father designed, and of how welcoming your father and mother were to all of us. My condolences.

John was an excellent architect and a gentleman. His architectural work for G.C. Murphy Company was of the highest quality, as was his knowledge of the various laws and regulations related to his work. I very much enjoyed working with him because of his integrity and personality.
Robert T. Messner
Former General Counsel of G.C. Murphy Company
