I was very sorry to hear of Matthew transition. He was a great and compassionate nurse.
I worked with Matthew at SENTARA Williamsburg Hospital. There was never a dull moment when he was on duty. Very jovial.

May God surround the family with his enduring love.

Sincerely,
Henrietta Morman

So saddened to hear of Matt's passing. We shared so many crazy adventures when I was precepting him in his nurse practitioner program. He had an enormous personality and it was never a dull moment when he was around.
My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and his adorable bulldog.

My thoughts are with Matt's family & friends. What a loss, working with Matt in the Emergency Department in Williamsburg was always an adventure, he brought many a smile and laugh to his patients and coworkers

My heart is with Matt's family. I worked with Matt in the Emergency Department at Sentara Williamsburg. He was a great person had a great personality and was so much fun. He definitely made the 12 hour night shift more bearable. My heart is very sadden. He will be greatly missed by all and most of all the medical field has lost a great person. He was so smart and such an inspiration to all that knew him. I feel extremely blessed to had known and worked with him. God bless you all.
