Kind, warm and inviting smile, a gentle sense of humor, a curiosity for life, and a good person. Her yard would never be the "Hanging Gardens of Babylon," but to her it was. I am sure I moved the same plant five times over the course of many years, so that it would be "just right." (smile) It was my honor to have known and helped Nancy when ever I could. She will be missed.

I haven't seen Nancy since I moved to Florida but I meet Nancy through the Seed and Weed Garden Club in Penn Hills, PA. A lovely lady admired by all.

I am so sorry. I just found this and it is too late to make a visit to the funeral home. Nancy was such a nice, nice lady. We were on the same committee for the Friendship club Christmas luncheon. We became friendly through the PH chamber of commerce women in business luncheons, and always sat together. Such a loss to her family, friends and the PH Chamber of Commerce community. She was an elegant, smart lady and she will be missed.

Nancy was a rare lady's lady: gracious, accomplished, enabling and discrete. At Carnegie Mellon's School of Urban Affairs, which became the Heinz College, she was the quiet force that kept each of the deans civil, faculty happy enough, staff organized and supportive, and students respectful. She set a standard for classy professionalism that all of campus admired, and was widely respected in the region and beyond.
