Growing up in Akron, Ohio, I knew Stephanie and the Yova family. Her father was extremely active in the council formulated for Orthodox unity in Akron among 14 Orthodox churches. This view of Orthodox unity and "One Orthodox Church" was shared by all of us since the 1960's. Stephanie's love for the church and sharing this vision was obvious from her earliest years. She was a dynamic force for a strong Orthodox Church in America. May her memory be eternal!

Our hearts simply broke when we heard the news. I'm sure that this is a very difficult time for the family, especially Mark. Very sorry we could not attend the services. The impact that she had on the Orthodox community in central Indiana will never be forgotten. May her memory be eternal.

We will always remember Stephanie for her smile, amazing laughter, friendship and a listening ear on so many things whenever needed. We know she is at peace with The Lord. We will continue to carry on with joy as she would want. Our prayers of sympathy and comfort to her family at this time.
