Frank Halley Obituary

Frank A. Halley, 95, of Greensburg, formerly of Elizabeth Township and McKeesport, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at St. Anne's Home in Greensburg. Born Nov. 29, 1920, in Port Vue, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Piesik) Halley. A World War II Army veteran, Frank was a member of White Oak American Legion Post 701 and St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township, and was a retired meat manager for various A&P stores. He is survived by his spouse of 68 years, Regina K. (Klune) Halley; daughter, Mary Ann Henderson, of Moundsville, W.Va.; grandson, Brian (Julie) Henderson, of Columbus, Ohio; great-grandson, Lucas Frank Henderson; sisters, Helene Kulis, of North Huntingdon, Catherine Perry, of Morristown, N.J., and Bernice Ludgate, of Orlando, Fla.; niece, Sally Shaw Beatty, of Wexford; nephew, Robert Shaw, of Silver Spring, Md.; and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Regina Kulis.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 5404 Walnut St., Versailles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at St. Michael Parish with the Rev. Thomas Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery, White Oak. Arrangements by the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, Elizabeth.
