Margery J. Knipple, 76, of Scottdale, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at her home after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Marge was born June 17, 1940, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late George and Kathryn (Metz) Bieber. Marge was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1958, and prior to her illness was employed at Kropff's Jewelry in Scottdale. Marge is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald L. Knipple; her son, Scott Kippel and his wife, Delaine, of Dawson; her daughter, Kristin Leonard and her husband, John, of Connellsville; her grandchildren, Alex Byers, of Scottdale, Branden Kippel, of Dawson, and Blake Breakiron, of Connellsville; her sisters-in-law, Deborah Bieber and Donna Pleva and her husband, Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George W. "Bill" Bieber; her sister-in-law, Nancy Sherbondy; and her brother-in-law, Jack Sherbondy.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, (724-887-5300, www.fergusonfunerals.com., GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at noon Thursday with her Pastor, Leonard B. Morgan III, officiating. Final resting place will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township.
