Where do I begin...Bill was a dear friend of the family; as young kids we delivered newspapers at his home, we grew up with Bill in Yukon over the years. He went to school with my brother. I remember him as a young boy coming over to the house to get together with my brother and the rest of the gang. I car pooled with Bill for a short time while working at Allegheny Power, he always made me laugh about something. My husband was on the golf league with him and Bill always had a story to tell. Just recently, I had a long conversation with Bill on my way to work. I called him when I saw his lights on at his place to say hello and we ended up talking until I got to work in Greensburg. We were reminiscing about old times and how special he thought my Mom was. As much as he was going through with his own health issues, he was giving me encouragement and trying to ease my pain over the loss of my Mom. He said we must keep the faith and continue to have hope because if we don't then what's the use of being here. Through all of his trials and tribulations over the years; Bill was always so positive and upbeat and never felt sorry for himself. He is at peace now with no pain. He was a good person who will be remembered by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Bill was not only my coworker, but also my friend. We worked together when I worked in Fairmont but when I transferred to Greensburg, we shared office space. He helped make the 10 years in Greensburg more enjoyable. Not only did I get to know him at work but I also got to see his personal side. We had a couple of interesting rounds of golf, what a fun person. He will always be in my memories.
