Our hearts are aching along with Andy's family. We will never forget our first memories of getting to know Andy and what has become a lifelong friendship.
Andy (as will be seen) was the beginning of a true friendship we share with the wonderful Felsing family! They are like family to us!

We had just moved to Sarver the summer of 1996. We were the new pastor across the street from Andy's home. Not only were we a new pastor, but also young and straight out of Bible college. This was our first church. Andy had just turned 16. He loved driving his dirt bike around where we lived!

Our first Sunday evening we made a snack for after church and shared it with a group of teens. Andy was one of them! The next week he delivered a 9x13 cake with icing that he had made himself. His act of kindness blessed our hearts in an immense way!

Little did we know what Andy had gone through to bring us a cake. This was his second cake to make. His first cake ended up on their kitchen floor!! Andy could have stopped then, but - NO- Andy was determined to bring us a cake. He patiently repeated the process and made us a successful, delicious cake!! He went the second mile which made the cake an extra-special gift. The cake was the beginning of a lasting friendship.

Through the many huge setbacks Andy faced in life, he demonstrated the same patient, determination he showed in making the cake for us. Andy's life was not easy. He faced some extremely challenging situations, but he kept going. When others would have long given up, Andy kept moving forward. He was given the best care, love and suppott from Howard and Janet, his wonderful parents!!

We give our deepest sympathy to the family at your time of great loss! We share in your tears. Our love and prayers are sincerely with you!!
