Darhl was a great person. My father thought a lot of him. I had the pleasure of knowing Daryl for a lot of years and will miss seeing him at Dob-Bros.

I will miss a great friend, a partner and a great husband to his wife. I will never be able to thank him enough for his service to the community and to his fellow Officers. He never turned away from an issue that he had to deal with. He was always there to lend a helping hand on the job and off. We both worked on the job together in our later years, but talked together frequently about how to survive and how older Cops transitioned through the job as we did get a little older. We will all do what we can to maintain a closeness with Carol during your absence. Rest assured, you will be missed.
