So sorry to hear of Mr. Pastorek's passing. He was my art teacher at West Deer High School. He was one of my favorite teachers and was so talented. I own one of his paintings which was purchased at his exhibit at Penn State New Kensington Campus. It was so nice for me, and my sister, to talk to him at that exhibit. She was in his art class at Deer Lakes High and she owns one of his paintings too. We also attended his exhibit in Latrobe. We have fond memories of his art classes....again our condolences. My deepest sympathy to all of Mr. Pastorek's family. I was one of his art student's at Deer Lakes--though I lacked talent in art, I tried, and Mr. Pastorek gave me encouragement, never showed any frustration and was a gentle and caring teacher. I respected him as a teacher and was awed by his talent. I feel very lucky to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace and may you, his family, find some comfort in knowing that others share in your sorrow.

John,
Your Dad was a great guy as was your Mom.
Great he made it to 93. Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Janet,
On behalf of all members of the Resnick Family, please accept our Deepest Sympathies at the passing of your Dear Father.
I remember him, very well. He was one of the nicest and most selfless individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I remember his always being there for you at MBS and I can't remember one time that I went to Mass and he was not in attendance.
You and the family have a terrific Legacy in your Dad/Family.
God Bless Always,
Dr. Joe Resnick/Family
