Nellie E. (Pentuk) Gaillot, 95, of Natrona Heights, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Nellie was born Saturday, July 8, 1922, in Creighton to the late John and Mary (Lewak) Pentuk. Nellie lived in this vicinity all her life. She dedicated her life to raising her family and cherished her time with them. Nellie was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. She enjoyed bowling, baking and volunteering her time with Meals on Wheels and visiting shut-ins. Nellie is survived by her beloved children, Denise (Mal) Zellefrow, of New Kensington, Gary (Betsy) Gaillot, of Murrysville, Ronald (Cheryl) Gaillot, of Lower Burrell, Annette (Tom) Riggle, of Vandergrift, and Russell John Gaillot, of San Francisco, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund H. Gaillot, on Aug. 24, 2001; and her siblings, Walt Pentuk, Charles Figiel, Stell Hurst and Ceal Fryncko.
Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, to ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where parting prayer services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
