His dream will live on- Thank you !
January 13, 2013
It is a shame, a tragedy to hear that this young man has left us far before his time. God be with his family in this time of sorrow.

Oh Robert, my heart aches for you and your family.

My memories are rooted in that crazy space on Wrightwood trying to comprehend your dad's dream of peace and your dream of a computer universe through the din of embossing machines, odors of hot plastic, visions of receptionists with beehives, with one foot in the fifties and the other in the 2000s. You gave our tiny-but-huge nonprofit our first computer-with no instructions, just a machine and the possibility of a changed future.

Your dad was a visionary, you too, and your son the next generation-the one that broke out into an almost unbelievable level of contribution. I am ashamed to say that I didn't know until Friday that Aaron was your son. What an incredible time you must have had raising him. The challenges of profound giftedness are invisible to others, I am afraid, but wow, you gave him so much room to fly. (I wish my son could have known him-he too left school early with a brain that couldn't be harnessed-he would have been inspired!)

I know you, Susan, Aaron's brothers, and the rest of your family are heartbroken. May your unyielding pride in all of your children give you comfort and solace. My heart is with you.

RIP. Thank you for your crusade to keep the internet free. We also will not forget to fight for what's right.

RIP Aaron. I pray that your work continues and your vision becomes reality.

The world is a lesser place without people like Aaron, who use their knowledge "For The People"

My condolences to Aarons family, friends, and colleagues.

May God bless his family with comfort and strength, grant His favor to those who stood by Aaron through this, and courage to those who will continue his work.
