I was just called as ward YW president. I felt overwhelmed until I read all that your beloved wife and mother accomplished as a young mom. I will remember her example to never complain as I serve more diligently! She raised a beautiful family with the love and support of one of the most service-minded husbands who ever lived! You are in our prayers!

My condolences to the grieving family who are missing her from this life. I like to think, though, that Sister Monson is visiting with my grandparents, Thelma and Elden Olsen, on the other side, where reunions are sweet.

Our deepest condolences to the immediate and extended family members and dear friends who had the privilege of knowing Sister Monson. May you find comfort in your happy memories and the knowledge that you will be together again with your beloved Frances.

We know that through the Atonement by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we will be with our loved ones again. At the same time, it is very difficult to be separated from them even for a temporary time. We still miss them and long to be in their presence and their loving arms.

President Monson, you are in our prayers. May you find personal comfort in knowing that through the covenants that you have made with your wife of 65 years, that she is, and always will be your eternal companion and sweetheart, in this life and the next.

We send our sincerest love to you, President Monson, and to all family members and close friends.

President Monson, I am the niece of Verlyn and Leora Thomas and grew up in the Temple View Stake. As I would go to the Temple with my aunt and uncle, they would tell me wonderful stories of you and your dear wife Frances. What a great example of love we all could learn from. I'm very sorry for your loss, but know our love and prayers go out to you and your family.
