Lynn,
I went to high school with Geoff and actually watched his older brother play for Horlick as he did. I recall how much alike they both looked. I was saddened to hear of his passing and my condolences to you, Geoffrey, Brian, Ashley, Conor, Oliver and Bonnie. May he rest in peace and be remembered by all those whose lives he touched. My prayers to all.

We are sadden to hear of Geoff's sudden passing. I knew and worked briefly with Geoff thru WSDOT on the Viaduct project. Geoff was kind hearted and a valued respected engineer to work with. He will be missed amidst our team. Our hearts are with you during your time of deep sorrow and know our prayers are with you & the rest of your family through this passage of loss.

I just caught up with my holiday e-mails and the heartbreaking news of Geoff's passing. Speaking for myself and so many others at WSDOT who have worked closely with Geoff over the last decade, he was the pinnacle of professionalism and a dear friend and mentor to so many. As has been shared over e-mails between co-workers, not only was Geoff a great strategic thinker with a wealth of knowledge, but he was incredibly generous with that knowledge, helping in the development of so many at WSDOT, myself included. I spent over 6 years working closely with Geoff on a number of projects, including SR 509 and the Viaduct replacement, and was thrilled to recently have rekindled that working relationship after a few years of minimal contact. My heart goes out to Geoff's family and friends, he was one of a kind and I am having a tough time right now processing his loss.
