So sorry to hear about the passing of Father Al. I always looked forward to talking with him when we visited the Chapel. He will be greatly missed by all!. I hope his work at the Chapel will be ongoing!!
I feel so blessed, and honored to have gotten the chance to meet Reverend Mascherino in Shanksville, PA while performing with the North Star Kids. To this day, he is the most selfless man I have ever met, and I feel inspired by him everyday. Reverend Mascherino left behind a beautiful legacy - the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel - and his light will continue to shine over the chapel, and all who enter. Rest in Peace.
Do not be afraid I am with you
I have called you each by name
Come and follow me, I will bring you home
I love you and you are mine

Our friend and hero "Padre" will be missed. He was an unselfish man who gave his all to establish the wonderful Memorial Chapel. God Bless Bishop Al. Meeting him and knowing him was a blessing for us! Our sympathy to family and friends. Linda and Dave Hattrick
I was stunned and saddened to read in Palm Springs that Fr. Mascherino died. We were the best of friends in the seminary and saddly lost contact over the years, speaking briefly perhaps once a year. Alphonse was the most talented, energetic, intelligent, passionate, gifted human being I have ever knew. I'm sure he is stirring things up in heaven already. Cheers! Fr. Robert Johnston
My sincere condolence for the loss of Alphonse your dear loved one. May your fond memories of him bring good thoughts. Peace and love to your family and friends, and to the spirit that you show. firstname.lastname@example.org

He was a courageous and principled man.
Blessings to the few like Rev. Mascherino. Special blessing to the family of Flight attendant CeeCee Lyles (of Ft. Myers, Fl, wife of Lorne) who had a physical part of the overtaking of the doomed plane.
My deepest sympathy to the Mascherino family. Psalms 55:22.
I. Met father Al eight years ago, ringing the chapel bell as my group passed his chapel, and have been friends since. I have never known a man, other than my father, that I have loved and respected as much as father. Rest father Al, your devotion to the chapel, and the motorcycle community will never be forgotten. You were a true friend, and I will miss you every day.
God bless those who work by the Lord's laws and not man's doctrine. Thank you for the sacrifice of your time and your love to those who left behind by such tragedy.
Rewards are GREAT in Heaven. People like him are greatly missed when they move on.
I was very sad to hear of Rev. Alphonses' passing. Please give our sincere condolences to the entire family.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Mascherino family and to everyone Uncle Funzi touched in all his years. A beautiful addition to heaven and everyone should be blessed to have a guardian angel such as him up there keeping watch over us.
