Mr Boozer was a superstar where his actions really counted the most, life. He impacted so many people's lives in a positive way. He could look into a person and see their character. The world will be a lesser place without him. Our prayers are with you.

To the Family of Bob Boozer,

I am a niece of Johnny Kerr, Bob's first coach with the Chicago Bulls. Just a few weeks ago, my sister Dru and I were laughing as we remembered how the announcer would yell out Bob's name when he scored: "Bob BOOOOOZER!" We loved it, and it made him our favorite player. My sister also told me how, one night, while we were waiting after the game for my uncle at the old Chicago Stadium, the Zamboni driver was bearing down on her, and being just a little kid, she froze. Bob, who was coming out of the locker room, saw it and scooped her up and out of the way.

For those of us old Bulls fans, we appreciated his time in Chicago. May God bring you comfort and peace in this time.

I really didn't know Bob Boozer, watched him play in college and pros, but always remember, when I worked at Caterpillar in Peoria, people would talk fondly about his basketball ability and kindness, prayers to his family.

Family

He now has eternal life and remains as savy man who loved all people. I was young and living in Zanesville, Ohio when he was playing and adored him then as I do now. Our God is good all the time! Keep his memories in your mind and heart and his love glowing towards others. God Bless you Mr. Bob Boozer.
Sorrowfully Submitted
