MELROSE - Helen M. Morgan, 77, of Melrose died peacefully Thursday, June 6, 2013, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born in Chever, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Esther Cowin Marble and the devoted wife of William Morgan of Melrose.
Mrs. Morgan was a home-maker and devoted her life to her family.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughter, Wanda Morgan of Melrose; her son, William Morgan of Cohoes; her brother, Fred Marble and his wife, Alice, of Troy; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jenna, Susan, William and Corey; her great-granddaughter, Sabrina; and several nieces and nephews
Helen was predeceased by her sister, Edna Marble; and her son, Jimmy Morgan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home at 870 Second Ave. at 124th and 125th streets in Lansingburgh.
Friends are invited and may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke.
A special thanks go to Theresa and Dan Marble, Eddy Visiting Nurses Association and Community Hospice of Rensselaer County for the help and care they gave to Helen during her final days.
