Joseph E. Dinon TROY - Joseph E. Dinon, 83, of Troy passed away July 23, 2013 at his home in Lady Lake, FL. Mr. Dinon was born in Troy and attended Troy Schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 and 1958-1961. He was a member of the Americal Legion Post 1489 in Wynantskill. He was the son of the Late Frank E. Dinon and Elizabeth Rexford Dinon, brother of the late William F.Dinon and Doris Dwyer. Survivors include a sister Elizabeth Alaskey, a brother Edward Dinon (Skip), four sons; Joseph Dinon (Cohoes), John Dinon (Troy), Michael Dinon (Dawn Sehl) (Troy), and Christopher Dinon(Seattle WA), three grandsons; Joseph Dinon , Casey Dinon, and Kevin Dinon, several nieces and nephews, and a dear friend /caregiver Tresa Carter(and family). A memorial mass will be held on August 22, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church 3rd Street Troy. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Troy.

Our sympathy to everyone in the Dinon Family. Joe was always a pleasure to chat with. We especially enjoyed the year he came for Easter dinner with Aunt Betty, Betty & Ray. He had a wonderful smile! We have fond memories.
