One final thought about Joe. He bicycled here to the station one day to see me, and pick up some literature. He told me he loves going to the doctors office, because the waiting room is his "mission field"! He was dying, and all he could think about was spreading the GOOD NEWS about Jesus! Now that's "walking the walk!" Jesus, please help me to be more like you are, and like Joe was!

I learned so much from Joe about telling others about Jesus! He didn't teach me in words, as much as he showed me by example. I hadn't heard from him in awhile, and I suspected that he had passed. And, since I just learned of his death, that is why I'm posting this now. God used Joe to remind me of something my Grandmother used to say, and it's not original. She would tell me, "Only one life, and soon it's past. Only what's done for Christ will last." Joe will be greatly missed, and his legacy is ETERNAL!!
