I worked with Dale in the Horizon Legal Department in the 70's when I was a young attorney new to Tucson. He was my mentor, teacher and friend. We traveled together to New Mexico, Texas and Nevada and he taught me a lot. He was such a pleasant person to be with. I will always remember how he looked forward to sleeping out in his back yard under the stars. As a big city boy, I thought that was so cool. I am sorry I did not stay in touch over the years. He was a great guy.
