Dear Shirley, family & friends,
I'm sending my heartfelt condolences to you as you grieve the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and law enforcement comrade!
Although I never worked directly with Ray, I served with Ray on the Tucson Police Department prior to his retirement. He was well liked and respected by his TPD family! God's blessings & protection to all of you & may Ray now rest in peace...
I will miss my neighbor and friend who raised me along with his family. Ray always had a kind word or a hug on hand at all times. I don't know if he realized how important his influence was on my life growing up but I will always remember him lovingly. My apologies to the family for not being able to come to the funeral. Cecilia and the rest of the family have been in my thoughts this week.
I was very fortunate to meet my cousins Ray and Shirley not long ago in Ohio, and I was saddened to learn from Jean King of Ray's death. This is a great loss for the whole extended family. Jean also sends her condolences.
You will be loved and very much missed. I wish you could be here today but everything has a time and purpose. I will never forget how you always mentioned (I was such a great helper when I was helping my dad put together a compositor for Grandma). You loved how I could take pictures and could figure out computer stuff when you needed help. I made a slideshow for you and I hope you enjoyed it from heaven.
Lots Of Love Your Granddaughter Renee
