I am sorry to hear of Mr. Diehl's passing. I was his student at Rincon, class of '85. He was a very knowledgeable man who cared about his students.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Diehl. I was friends with Tracey Anderson as a teenager and I always found Mr. Diehl to be funny and happy. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I was a high school student of Wayne's and a friend to him and Elyse as an adult where we served in church together in the 1990's. I am saddened by his passing (as I was at Elyse's in 1996), as they were both such encouraging and wonderful friends. My God bless and comfort Wayne's many friends and family members at this time and always.
Wayne was an extremely kind and thoughtful man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all of us who worked with him in the Arizona Education Association as well as the Arizona Education Association - Retired.
Wayne will be missed by so many of us. I worked with Wayne for many years at Rincon High School, and served with him at many TEA, AEA and NEA functions over the decades. He was always so sweet, willing to help whenever and where ever. He had a twinkle in his eye that was mischievous, and he made
any gathering so much fun. Thank you, Wayne, for your mentoring and your service.
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Wayne Diehl. I knew him all my professional life and was proud to be a colleague and collaborator with him in both TUSD and TEA/AEA/NEA. Wayne was a decent, intelligent, kind man and a good leader of his organization. He never lost sight of the target, and fought the good fight for many years. He has earned his rest. I'll bet he is dancing with the angels, now.
I met Wayne many years back as a fellow member of the Arizona Education Association. I grew to know him as a great leader, a well-respected teacher, and a good friend. Wayne will be sorely missed by his friends and colleagues in AEA-Retired. His great smile and sense of humor made all occasions and meetings better.
Warmest thoughts to you the family of Wayne as you celebrate his life. He was a very interesting man. I knew him through the Arizona Education Association for many years. He really loved to dance. He made things fun when there was music to dance!
My deepest sympathy to the family members
Sincerest sympathy to all of Wayne's family. He will be sorely missed by all of his colleagues at AEA-Retired. The Annual Meeting and AEA Delegate Assembly just won't be the same without him.
