My Daddy, I lost the best Father, Mentor, Friend and Man that I ever knew. He passed away peacefully holding my hand. I celebrate his life of dedication to the "Greater Good". I celebrate the long life he lived teaching his children, grandchildren and anyone who would listen, the many lessons he learned in life. He was a lover of humanity, animals, life and God. I will dearly miss his physical presence in my life. I look forward to feeling his Fatherly love and direction surround me throughout the rest of my life and to the day when I will see him again on God's celestial shores. He was a great man. I love you, Daddy. Your, Cookie

Mr.Baker was such a true animal lover. I went out to help him with some of the animals in his care or that he was concerned about. One of our most 'famous' cases was Grendel, a darling Shih tzu that Mr Baker was able to rescue. You would not have know what type of dog she was, she was so matted and dirty and injured. And then he was so concerned with the little dog kept chained up on a three foot chain that he talked the owners into turning over to us. We found wonderful homes for both of these dog. We will miss Mr. Baker and all the animals he has helped are most grateful for his compassion for animals.
