I was a Fraternity Brother of Dan at the University of Minnesota from 1950 to 1952. Dan and I became good friends. He was such a fun guy to be around. Had a great sense of humor and loved life. I had an opportunity to visit Dan during a trip back to my home town of Austin, Minnesota in late summer of 2011. Dan was still living in his home in New Prague. We had an enjoyable visit plus lunch. We kept in touch via e-mail until he went to his Assusted Living facility in New Prague.
I send my condolences to Dan's family as well as my love and prayers. May you rest in peace Dan my boy !
