Age 56 ~ Of Mendota Heights Died March 15, 2014 Greg was born in St. Paul on August 18, 1957, to Jerry and Leona Jenniges. The third of seven siblings, he grew up on the West Side of St. Paul, and attended Humboldt High School—where he met the love of his life, Joanie (neé Zigan). The two married in 1977, and Greg completed his degree in accounting at the University of Minnesota in 1979. A caring and devout man who was never short on humor, Greg was fully devoted to his family, which grew to include four children and four grandchildren who adored their "Bumpa." He lived a life of loving sacrifice and service—building the independent tax and accounting firm Orenstein Jenniges & Bronson LLP, extensively remodeling the family home, and patiently coaching his children's athletic teams. Greg passed away on March 15 after a long, brave, and hard-fought battle with multiple myeloma. Special thanks to Dr. Shaji K. Kumar, Michele Gronseth, RN, and the staff at Station 94, Gift of Life Transplant House, and the Mayo Clinic Transplant Center for their loving care and friendship. Survived by his dear wife Joanie; children, Amy (Sonia) Ruiz, Rachel (Nathan) Geffers, Kelsey and Joseph; beloved grandchildren, Bill, Phoenix, Alex and Isaiah, parents Jerry and Leona; brothers, Randy (Judy), Jeff (Mary) and Brad; sisters, Brenda (Ken) Byron, Kim (Paul) Abrass and Jolene (Paul) Burrows; life-long friend Cyril (Annamarie) Kosel and many nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, March 20th at the CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy., Mendota. Private Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at church 9-11 AM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, gifts to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation appreciated.

My sincerest sympathy to your family. The love Greg and Joannie had for each could be witnessed by all when they were together. Greg was very kind hearted. I remember when my daughter Sarah and his daughter Kelsey went to kindergarten together he was kind and picked up my daughter and gave her a ride to school when I was unable for a few weeks. May the wonderful memories you have of him bring you some comfort in this very difficult time.
